In-Person Registration

Register NOW On-line with USA Hockey


An in-person registration is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, August 19th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the New Brighton Family Service Center.

Before you register with Irondale Youth Hockey, you need to register with USA Hockey/MN Hockey online.

The instructions and FAQ are located in the Registration tab on the left hand side of the home page or click HERE.

If you already know what to do to register with USA hockey, click on the logo below.



As forms are finalized, they will be posted.  The earliest they will be on the website will be mid-August.

The online registration system for IYHA (after you register online with USA/MN Hockey above) will open in mid-August.

Be There between 4:45 -5:30.

*Note: You may need to park in the vicinity and walk your

have someone drop you off and pick you up at the end of the

Calling all Irondale Players

We need YOU to be in the following parades.  Bring your rollerblades and skate with the Irondale parade puck, hand out candy and pencils and flyers!  You get to be in the parade and skate/walk the parade route!  We need adults and players.

  • St. Anthony Villagefest – Friday, August 1 - Meet at 6pm for 7pm start
    Meet at the IYHA slot #50 which is on 27th Avenue-North side of the street.
    Be there at 6:00 so we can review safety rules and get set up.


    Thanks to everyone who showed up for the Villagefest Parade!  We will post pictures as soon as they come in.

Summer Hockey Program for Irondale Girls Grades 7-12

Irondale High School Girls Booster Club Announces Summer Hockey Program

**UPDATE 6/10/08**
 

Updated Information as of 6/10/2008

The Irondale Summer Hockey Camp has had to make some changes to the program.
The girls can sign up for a Girls only strength and conditioning training at
Irondale on Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fri. at 10:30. The form to sign up is
located at the weightlifting room or the Irondale A.D. Office or online at
www.moundsviewschools.org/comm_edu/youth_programs.asp.
 
The Herb Brooks program will be on Tues. at 4:00pm starting on June 17 and going for 10 weeks ( not July 4 Week ). The Herb Brooks program also includes 6 Months of drop in program.

We will be adding a Two week long camp on-ice with dryland July 21 at the N.S.C.
8 days (Mon - Thurs.) at 12:50 - 1:50.

Option#1:  Summer strength and conditioning training - $85 (paid to community ed w/registration)
Option#2:  Herb Brooks training and drop-in program - $75
Option#3:  On-Ice Two Week Summer Camp w/dryland - $75

any two Option's for $150

Lots of Action for the Irondale Knights

District 2 Playoffs for 12UB Girls
Boys and U10B Girls complete District 1 Playoff action
South Region Playoffs for PeeWee A
 

District Playoffs Recaps:

 

  • Squirt A - lost their first game in a double overtime heartbreaker to Washburn. They beat Johnson and lost to Como to end their playoff experience. This young team played tough and with heart the whole season. They worked hard and played hard all year. Good luck to you boys next year
  • Squirt B -  lost their first game against Washburn Blue in a double overtime heartbreaker.  They won over Como in their next game.  However, they lost another heartbreaker in a shootout to Washburn Orange to end their playoff experience   
  • Squirt C  - beat Richfield in a shootout to win their knockoff game.  Lost to Highland Blue and Minneapolis Park Purple to end their District 1 season 

  • PeeWee A (rank #2)- lost their first game to Highland.  They won their next game against Washburn and then beat Johnson.  They WIN the 2nd place trophy against Highland and head to the state regional playoffs.  (See below for Region Playoff recap) 
  • PeeWee B (rank #2)- beat Johnson then lost to Mpls Park.  They came back with a victory over Washburn and lost to Richfield Friday night to end their playoff experience.
  • PeeWee C (rank #3)- lost to Highland Blue in the first round, but came back with wins against Richfield and Edgcumbe Green (in OT).  They lost to the DinoMights to end their playoff experience.

  • Bantam A  (rank #6)- lost to Highland and to Mpls Park to end their playoff experience.
  • Bantam C (rank #3)- beat Mpls Park on Sunday, then lost to eventual champion Highland and then beat Edison.  They lost to Washburn to end their playoff experience.  
  • Girls 10UB Gold (rank #3)- They won their first game against Highland and their second game against Stillwater.  They lost their third game against Washburn.  They won a close game over the Irondale 10UB Maroon team.  In the 3rd Place Championship Game, Richfield scored the game winner with somewhere between .01 and .00 seconds left in OVERTIME and it stands as a true buzzer beater. Everyone should be proud of this great group of girls. They finished 3rd of 14 in the regular season and 4th of 14 in the play-offs! 20-6-3 overall.
  • Girls 10UB Maroon (rank #2)- They received a bye in the first round.  Their first game was against Washburn and they came up short.  In their following game, they pounded Highland and beat Stillwater.  The lost to Irondale Gold to end their playoff experience. 

  • Girls 12UB (rank #6)- beat Roseville in their knockoff game.  Won over #3 Mounds View in overtime.  Lost to Highland Blue, then to Highland Red to end their District 2 playoff experience.
South Region Playoffs Recaps:

  • PeeWee A regional playoff recap - Our PeeWees played their first Regional game against the 4th best team in Minnesota (according to MNHockeyRankings.com) and was not able to pull out a big upset.  Their 2nd game was against the #1 team from District 4, Faribault, and they ended Friday with their 2nd loss of the day.  They played the #1 team in Minnesota, Edina, Saturday and played their best game of the tournament but still came up short ending their playoff experience.
